Today’s post must be about Only Murders In The Building because it’s Friday! I think it’s time to discuss silhouettes of main characters, and give some names of actors who play a part in this show. And at the end we’ll wonder what it means to really know someone…

First of all, it’s quite amazing and original that the main trio is made of two elder men and a young woman. And they are complete strangers when they decide to start a podcast! What an unusual idea! Seriously, it would be hard to find such a friendship in real life, but I think it’s what makes this series such a success. You put strange things together, and it’s work of art and something genius when it actually makes sense. So, two elder men who I’ve already mentioned are: Charles Haden-Savage played by Steve Martin, Oliver Putnam played by Martin Short and Mabel Mora played by Selena Gomez. Well, amazing names, funny hidden messages and surprising coincidences… I guess I can sum it up like that!

When it comes to who these people are… Well, here we have the actor whose glory has past a long ago, but he thinks he’s still a big star, the director whose shows are hardly ever called good and a young woman who can be called an architect & painter. I guess she’s the only artist here whose future look bright. If she only kept doing anything for living… I mean, there is not much work that she has done by now, right…?

So, these are all artists who live in the same building and they all are into solving crimes… I don’t know about you guys, but I simply like these little things about these characters. They are acting super serious and ridiculous at the same time! And the fact that they are artists is another thing that I really like here…

Now few words about guest stars and well, there are plenty of big names! In the 3rd season there are Meryl Streep and Ashley Park, but in previous seasons where were also Cara Delavingne, Jane Lynch, Sting and many many more. I wonder what pulls such great actors to this series and what makes them want to be a part of this… Is it just the fact that it’s rather a good and popular show or there is more that attracts them…? How do you think? Let me know!

The last paragraph now. Next two episodes that I’ve watched this week also were about… Do we really know people that are a part of our lives? It’s about the show because killers are always neighbors or people who main characters thought they knew well… But I also think it’s just the truth in general. Sometimes we find out things about people we know that we would never ever guess…. So, I guess the key is to spend more time with people, to listen to them closely and this kind of things… Because how can we know someone when we don’t talk…? Well, sometimes there are ways when you don’t need words, but it’s usually the practice of many years, so… Yeah, the communication is the key to really know someone.
