I saw Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film on Saturday with my mom, and I must say that it’s a masterpieces that left me breathless for about 10 minutes… You guys just gotta see it to believe it!
The director Sam Wrench did an excellent job. It’s so full of amazing angles and crazy details that I haven’t seen before though I think I’m obsessed with this tour. I’m happy to see the live show next year, but it’s gonna be a totally different experience than watching this film in the cinema. So, you also gotta go and see it even if you already got a ticket for it!
When it comes to other stuff… My cinema was almost empty. And there was no merch or anything, and I really hoped to buy the cup and bucket. There was no souvenir fliers as well. Oh, and the light was turned off before and after the film, so everybody had to use flashlights… That’s why my mom was disappointed as well! Because we paid a lot for it (we had VIP seats), and it’s Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, not a little town…
So, I’ve decided to look for the cup and bucket in other cinemas this week… Wish me luck!
Another thing is that there were no subtitles in my cinema, and that’s why I’ve started creating the huge file with all lyrics for my mom yesterday. I’m serious! Also, this film is a bit cut because there are at least 5 songs less. I think it may be an Easter egg or something. And I hope there will be a full version available on the streaming services one day. Or on DVD, who knows…
Today that’s all that I needed to say, but I’m not done about The Eras Tour yet because as I’ve already said, I’m going to see Taylor performing live in August 2024…
The next post is coming on Friday, and it will about Only Murders In The Building.
So, see ya then!
Love, A.A.
