Today post is later than usually and it was an emergency situation because we never plan funerals to attend and this way I feel like October-November events is a perfect time to talk about both matters now – in June. I mean my personal life (funeral) and new episode of Riverdale (about Halloween). It’s all so… Black!

It’s an American holiday – I mean Halloween – while in Poland next two days are traditional Polish catholic holidays. And it all is all about horrors, ghosts, dead and saints and this way it’s funny how it fits these June days. I mean I went to the funeral this week and that’s about 300 km away from Warsaw. I mean I came back to my mother’s hometown after four years and it was actually a sudden trip because it’s far. And such an episode came out this week and this topic is actually the same, you know… I really hope you understand my point!

It’s tragic to suddenly be reminded that life is so fragile and we can make plans but we never plan attending funerals. And you know, it brought the feeling of déjà vu again (read my novel to understand) and that’s why I’m writing this post later than usually… I mean the funeral… It’s like Halloween/All Saints’ Day & All Souls’ Day in June! Referring to the new episode of Riverdale…

Ok, let me say few words about the new episode now. What I like about it the most is how it was directed/made. I mean music playing in the background and the way characters are shown (those edges). It’s like… It doubles the effect. The content shows celebration of Halloween, those crime threads and well, it was a good episode. And again, it reminded me about high school days. As I’ve already said, Halloween is an American tradition and we Poles have our own traditions but it doesn’t mean that we don’t know anything about Halloween or don’t celebrate it – some does. Veronica recalls the tradition of remembering the dead and that’s what reminds me about Polish November holidays. But Reggie never celebrating Halloween before also remind me… Me!

Ok I’m done. The next post will be about The Lumineers show that I’ve seen just before driving away. And I’m uploading videos in the meantime! Started yesterday. I’d like to post it when it’s all done and settled, you know.
