Another thing that I wanted to do to celebrate my 25th birthday this year is going for the premiere of Louis Tomlinson: All Of Those Voices. It’s been 11 years since I’ve liked One Direction so how could I not please myself like that? Anyways…. This post will be nothing but the review of this documentary.

The film starts with the chapter quite called “Being in the band and the collapse of it”. I mean it’s just about the time spent being a part of the band… It’s very sad to hear things like: “What am I doing here if I can’t sing and write songs for this band?”… It’s like you can’t do what every artist should have a right to do and whatever you do just feels wrong… And even worse! It’s like you can’t be yourself… Also, when you give all of you for this one purpose and in the end it’s taken away from you… Yeah, it’s definitely frustrating and it’s easy to get lost then…

And I think that the saddest part of it is the fact that they knew very well that’s not just a break but the end of this era. Now when they all are successful and found their ways being solo… I unfortunately lost hope that they could be one band again anytime soon…

Now such a little digression… I heard other girls saying “He didn’t say anything new” but I don’t agree with it. Is it possible that fans may know more than family and friends? I’ve truly learned many new things so I totally don’t agree with this statement… Maybe I was guessing many things before as well but it was a confirmation of it then… Also, I’m not able to say more about the beginning of the film because I simply didn’t see it… My bus decided to be late and the exact amount of time that I was waiting for it arrive is the same time that I missed…

Whatever… Another thing is unlucky year 2016. I’ve never known that losing the band, mother and sister all fell at once at Louis’ head… It’s the most touching moment of this documentary and I’m honestly full of respect for this man for doing all that he did. Such terrible experiences didn’t break him down and that’s something we all can learn from him – not to ever give up when tragedies and difficulties appear on our way.

Also, it made me so happy to see the process of creating Walls and Faith In The Future. I honestly love these records and it’s even more valuable because it’s not a role someone told you to play but it’s art that come from the heart. This documentary made me want to buy a ticket for his show even more than before. Because it’s not a superstar who thinks is better than others but it’s a normal guy who is doing his job of dreams. Such people deserve more support than others. I’m not sorry for saying this!

This is not only the documentary but it’s also a musical. Every film where music appears can be called a musical (I’ve learned it during my studies so definitions can’t lie, you know!). There were many pieces of One Direction songs and solo tracks from Louis’ solo albums. Hearing all those sounds in the cinema truly gave me shivers and that’s one more reason why I need to see his show even more than before. It sounded so good like that!

When it comes to the way this movie is made, I honestly love it because… It’s so tidy and the structure of it is so easy to see. Now I think about it… It’s like reading a book and changing pages each few minutes…

The last thing I need to talk about is the title. I felt like I knew this line but I couldn’t recall where it come from… This film not only made me realize it’s from Bigger Than Me but also, now I finally understand what this song is about…

So, I can recommend watching it if you like One Direction or Louis Tomlinson but it’s also interesting if you’re simply interested in music industry. You can still watch it in the cinema on Saturday so hurry to buy your ticket if I encouraged you to see it!
