New Taylor Swift’s Songs And The Eras Tour

Today post will be about four new songs that Taylor Swift released last Friday. Also, about the tour! I’ve been watching videos from the first show and I have many thoughts about it so I decided to make this post…

But at first let me say few words about new songs. All Of The Girls You Loved Before is a song that didn’t make it to the final shape of Lover but it was leaked lately right with another song. It looks like Taylor knows about it and maybe that’s the reason why she released it. Also, she knew that people loved this song and The Eras Tour was just about to begin so… It’s like a perfect ad that was made in the perfect time. But you know guys what it made me believe? That maybe Lover (Deluxe) may be in a way…

The next song is Safe & Sound (Joy Williams and John Paul White) (Taylor’s Version). I used to think it would be the part of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) but Taylor put it now as a Red song… Just like Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version)… Well, I think it’s a trick because the singer didn’t want to reveal the artwork of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). But we’ll see what the future holds!

And the fourth song that came out last Friday is If This Was A Movie (Taylor’s Version)… It used to be placed on Speak Now (Deluxe) and now it has the cover of Fearless (Taylor’s Version)?! Three tracks that sound like Speak Now are put on two records that came out before and after Speak Now? These releases definitely mean that Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is coming this year.

Now let’s talk about the tour for a minute. There were two shows by now and what records are played a little too little? Speak Now and the self-titled debut. I believe it’s another Easter Egg that means that we may get these two re-recordings later this year. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) came out in one year in the end!

When it comes to the tour in general… That’s something that never happened before – I mean performing for 3 hours with 44 songs… What a brain and memory this woman has! If I have to compare this phenomenon with anything, then I must say that the show from The Eras Tour is like a theater play Hamlet with Benedict Cumberbatch that I saw lately. Because Taylor’s show is not only the concert but it’s the realest spectacle. All those dresses, gowns (I mean the performance of Enchanted and the last great american dynasty), folklore wooden house, evermore piano that appeared on the stage… It all gave me shivers and let me say it again – Taylor is touring with the spectacle.

Oh, and the Red era really looks amazing here as well. The most touching moments? I must say All Too Well (10 Minute Version), champagne problems, tolerate it, my tears ricochet. And I’m glad that Taylor performed the whole folklore trilogy: betty, august and cadigan. Oh! And Lavender Haze is a little spectacle in a spectacle… It’s probably my favorite moment from the whole show!

When it comes to further part… I just must say a word about new technologies that are seen in the 1989 era and in the moment between the acoustic set and Midnights… There is a moment when Taylor can be seen in many difference outfits during the Blank Space performance and it’s incredible because it looks so real! I mean the singer moves a hand and all those images from screens do exactly the same! It made me wonder… Is it such a synchronization or choreography?

The second such a moment is swimming. It was loud about it and I must say it again – these new technologies are really amazing and impressive! But it also has to be expensive…

The last thing is acoustic surprise songs set. I absolutely love this idea! It’s the perfect moment to connect with fans, rest and… Perform song from the debut! Also, I honestly love the idea of playing different tracks during the each show even if it’s just one or two songs. It makes me feel like this way there is no single show that may be similar to another… And it’s especially fun for people who have already been to the concert from the same tour…

That’s all today. The next post is coming on Thursday. It’s going to be the review of Louis Tomlinson: All Of Those Voices that I’m seeing tomorrow.

Greetings!

AA
