Luke Hemmings In Warsaw

After Niall Horan the time of Sounds of a Soul came around, and it can mean few things, but it’s about Luke Hemmings today… I mean I’ve been to his show on Wednesday, and that’s what I’d like to talk about today.

I wrote the article about Sounds of a Soul last year. Feel free to check it out here if you don’t recall it or you missed it.

Luke Hemmings is a member of Australian band – 5 Seconds of Summer. He released the solo record When Facing the Things We Turn Away From in 2021, and not a long ago the new EP boy came out. It’s just the additional musical fruit that is very personal and doesn’t mean leaving the band.

He started his first solo tour Nostalgia For A Time That Never Existed just a few days ago, so feel free to check out his music, and you may still have a change to hear him live if you like what you hear.

I have already started uploading my point of view, I mean my videos from the show in Warsaw, and you can find the playlist with it here:

There will be 17 parts in total made of the main show, support clips (NewDad) and my commentary from the couch. The last video will be out on 17th May, but I can’t promise that all videos will come out until then… It depends on my WiFi, you know. And I must be at home to keep uploading… My dad is back to hospital, so I may be really busy in the nearest future, but we’ll see…

So, now let me say few words about the show. I loved it, and it didn’t feel too short at all! I mean Luke played only 17 songs, but somehow it was a perfect setlist for my soul to relax and have fun. I wanted to hear it live because this kind of music is so lyrical and feels like floating right trough me, so I had to go and experience it live. Even if you just stand and listen… It’s totally fine. Sometimes all that really matters is music…

But there were few fun moments that I remember the most as well. You need to see Place In Me live to understand this magic… Lights, music and the feeling… It was absolutely the best point of the night… But last three songs were cool to dance to and sing too. I mean Shakes, I’m Still Your Boy and Starting Line… Yeah, these are moments I remember the most.

If you want to check out the setlist, then you can find it here:

Update. All videos are uploaded. Just go to my playlist mentioned above to see it all! There is also one video with clips from the support’s set… But here I’d like to give you the video with the commentary only. It’s at the same time the video from Season 4, you know!

That’s all today. The next article is coming tomorrow, and it will be about Eurovision 2024.

Love, A.A.
