The second part of the trip I mentioned yesterday was the Louis Tomlinson’s show! I will tell you few words about it today, about his records and about supports that performed that night as well – Andrew Cushin & The Lathums.
First of all, Louis Tomlinson used to be a member of One Direction. In 2020 he put out this solo debut entitled Walls. The second solo record is Faith In The Future (2022). And well, this show that I’ve seen is a part of the tour that promotes the second album.
I think it’s time to let you see the video where I talk about the show (if you haven’t seen it yet).
This video is mainly about differences between Louis and Harry Styles shows. They come from one band and I feel like One Direction music is the most alike Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan solo records. It’s like they mainly created the sound of last three albums and this is what they had in hearts. One common love for this kind of music…
When it comes to the show, I must say that music was really amazing live. It was the quintessence of rock spirit. It was simple, raw and honest. Not limited by anything.
I had so much fun and let me get a bit personal now. I believe that it’s the second show after that July one (Harry it was) that opened up my throat. It’s important because I’ve been working on my own music this year, you know. My voice is still a silent one but I’m not afraid to keep working on it just like Louis. I mean I really understand his fear that he talks about in his documentary – singing out of tune… But honestly, vocally it was really amazing in Kraków and I honestly think that people wouldn’t care even if it was really bad. Because that atmosphere was really magical and it was nothing but love. The half of the arena was empty but everybody were singing and screaming (just like that girl from my videos) really loud. So, you can’t say nothing more but bravo, people!
Another thing that I find surprising is that Louis’ voice sounds high but when I heard him live I realized that it’s actually all sang really low. I personally prefer higher notes. Like Harry Styles. I mean my voice feels better there but it’s just a side note… I’m just trying to say that dealing with the real voice, I mean live, can be still so fresh and new even when you’ve known the artist for 11 years.
Now I think it’s time to let you see the whole show recorded by me! Just click below:
At the ending let me tell you about my favorite songs by Louis Tomlinson that were performed during the show. I love The Greatest, Holding On To Heartache, High In California, Written All Over Your Face, Back To You, Out Of My System, Angels Fly, Saturdays and Silver Tongues. Also, I’m surprised that Bigger Than Me was kicked out of setlist… What happened, Louis…? It’s a lead single in the end!
So, you can check out the setlist on my Spotify playlist here:
Also, here are those two records that I’ve mentioned at the beginning:
Now I’d like to say few words about supports. When I heard songs before the show by Andrew Cushin, I was astonished how good they are! That’s why I’ve recorded few clips to make you hear these songs, too. Btw, his debut album just came out! If you like my videos, feel free to check out his record as well.
Also, it’s really beautiful to see how supportive Louis is towards Andrew. I have never seen an artist sending emails to fans letting them know about someone else’s music. I mean it’s so nice of Louis and I think this is how real support should look like. Just chapeau bas.
Now it’s time to tell you few words about the second support – The Lathums. I liked their music less before the show but I must say that it was really amazing live. I don’t know the song title but the way bass and drums sounded… It was just unbelievably good! Today I have two videos of my fav songs by them but don’t hesitate to check out their albums as well if you like it.
P.S. Few symbolic photos. Can you guess who it who?

I think it’s time to finish this post now. So, tomorrow I’m coming back with the last post about my September trip. It will be about Kraków and places that I’ve gone to one day after the show.
See ya tomorrow then!
Love, A.A.
