The Summer I Turned Pretty… And What Happened Next

Today I’m coming back to start another blogging series and that’s only because my latest video got over 100 views! It means that you can expect each Wednesday since now posts about The Summer I Turned Pretty until the end of September. Well… Does it mean that my break ends faster…? Not quite… Keep reading to find out more!

You can watch the video I’ve mentioned here:

I’ve started watching the second season yesterday and this post will be about first two episodes. Just saying.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is a series produced by Amazon Prime, it’s a Young Adult & Romance and it’s based on trilogy by Jenny Han. And here are those titles:

  1. The Summer I Turned Pretty,
  2. It’s Not Summer Without You,
  3. We’ll Always Have Summer.

I haven’t read these books yet but I will definitely do it. In the end I’m a Young Adult author too!

So, the first season was the realest romance and love quadrangle since the main character had three boyfriends in just one summer… I guess it’s not totally possible but you know… When you suddenly turn pretty… Everything’s possible! I guess that a girl really can break three hearts at once but maybe not in just one summer…

And then we have another dramatic thread which is called “illness and death”. These two threads start the new season and I love how totally differently it feels comparing it with the first season. I don’t know how close it is to books but the series is really well made and I’m not surprised that it’s become such a huge hit that not only teenagers love. I’m 25 and I totally enjoy it and I feel like I can relate too!

I must also say that it’s so lovely how mysterious it is now. It shows next summer and recalls pieces of all that happened since the last episode of the first season… What can I say? It’s lovely made!

The next week post will be about another thread called “we can’t lose this house” and it’s safe to say it because even trailers were pointing this out.

Well… When it comes to other stuff… I’ve started creating the last post about my summer trip on Monday and I’m doing my best to finish it until Friday because I’m going for another trip on Saturday and coming home on Monday. I’m going to Zakopane and Cracow again and I’m going for the last show this year. This time it’s Louis Tomlinson. So, posts about these things will appear here after 24th September. The only things to expect before the end of my blogging break is this new blogging series and the last part about the summer trip. And you must know that I got a lot to say when my break ends!

So, that’s a wrap today.

Love, A.A.
