Today post will be about two other locations placed by the Polish shore of the Baltic Sea – Sopot and Gdynia and cities that can be found by the Vistula Lagoon – Elbląg and Frombork. Read it if you wants to see how beautiful these cities are and what is worth seeing out there.
Sopot
Sopot is a very exclusive place full of villas. There is also a very popular molo and the street full of restaurants called popularly Monciak (Bohaterów Monte Casino Street). You can also go to the lighthouse – view of the city and the sea is priceless from there. Oh, I can also recommend buying souvenirs made of amber. I mean silver jewelry with amber!

Another place that Sopot is famous for is this Forest Opera. This is the place of the festival that I’ve loved watching since I was a kid and you can go sightseeing there as well.
Another place worth visiting is the reconstruction of the hill ford. This place by the sea is what fishermen from Middle Ages loved before rich people started appearing here in 16th century to spend time in their summer houses. And the reason why it was discovered again in 19th century (the most of villas were built then) was founding the Spa House and the park (that still exist).
Gdynia
This is a very fresh city that exists since regaining the independence in 1918. Gdańsk became an independence city so Poland needed another port. So, this is what Gdynia is mainly – a very modern port city.

Gdynia is also beautiful cliffs. And you can also find a cliff in Sopot…

This is the Museum of Emigration. This is where cruises through the ocean to America were starting 100 years ago. That’s a very interesting place that is highly recommended.

There is also the free molo…

What I also recommend is two ships-museums called ORP Błyskawica (that’s the part of Naval Museum) and Dar Pomorza (The Gift of Pomerania). There is also an oceanarium near these two ships. I also recommend the huge Marine Museum of Gdynia which I only saw from the outside but it looked impressive anyway, you know. And I really wish I could go there one day!
Now you can watch the video that I made 2 years ago. It’s about traveling and the Baltic Sea. And it’s made of photos and videos that I’ve taken/made in 2020 and 2021. Maybe you will even recognize some…? Oh, and I’m so sorry for talking so slow and stuff… I simply really needed water then!
Elbląg
This is a city placed by the Vistula Lagoon. It’s a city that was completely destroyed during the Would War II but it came alive like a phoenix. Like Warsaw. I recommend to spend more time out there because it was the most peaceful place I’ve been to. And it was really beautiful out there. Just look at these photos!

Have you seen a smaller street…?

Elbląg was a Vikings colony before. It was called Truso. If you’d like to learn about the history of this place, then I recommend a very interesting Museum of Elbląg placed in the old Teutonic Knights’ castle and the school.
Frombork
This is another city placed by the Vistula Lagoon. It’s a very interesting place where Nikolaus Copernicus spent so much time watching the sky. His bones were even found there. And the cathedral is famous thanks to its organs as I mentioned in the previous post.
If you want to see all that this place offers, then prepare for spending a lot of money… Well, I also recommend the cruise to Krynica Morska – a very famous little city that is located by the sea in the middle of the Vistula Spit. I was there in 2016 during the school trip and I honestly loved it!

Today that’s all. I still need to mention three more cities but I don’t know when it comes out, honestly. I have a show and a funeral happening next week so I won’t be able to write, you know. But I will try to come back with anything next weekend.
Okay, so greetings!
