Eurovision 2023. The First Semi-Final

Last night Eurovision was quite a spectacle, wasn’t it? Today I’ll talk about songs that are the most worth noticing in my opinion. Also, you can check out my playlist made of 11 songs that we heard last night (and more).

Loreen – Tattoo

I feel like this song may win this year. She already won once so why can’t she do it the second time? I’m pretty sure that all people who love Eurovision remember Euphoria very well!

Alessandra – Queen of Kings

The second powerful song, voice and performance. I honestly loved it and well, I like this kind of openers, I must say! How about you, guys?

Noa Kirel – Unicorn

The next song and artist is similar in glory. This time it’s a song about the power of the legendary creature – unicorn. It’s like this whole performance is a good girly taste and the dance and music simply complete each other. I love it!

Vesna – My Sister’s Crown

English and one of Slavic languages (I mean Czech) mash-up and the modern folk girls band in sound and those visuals… I mean those costumes… I’m totally buying it!

Remo Forrer – Watergun

The 5th song is about the war times. It’s the wish for peace. And the moment when Ukraine couldn’t host the contest this year because of war… Well, it’s a very clear message. Also, it’s one of my favorite male voice from the first semi-final.

This is how my TOP 5 looks like. You may ask where the Cha Cha Cha by Käärijä is… Well, I like this song only in half, to be honest. It’s so bitter-sweet… It has such a rock-metal power that I like but the rest seems strange to me… But it was clear that it would make it to the Great Final so you can find it on my playlist as well.

The second song that I gotta mention is Dance (Our Own Party) by The Busker. It was such a fun performance, a catchy song and there is a Michael Jackson reference as well. I really wish they qualified!

So, this is it! Tomorrow will bring another post about Riverdale and well, it’s going to be about dancing!

See ya then!
