It’s The Women’s Day so I wanted to wish a good day to all women reading this post but I also want to express how important we are and we deserve to be treated better. Because we’re not weak and we can also rule the world just like men.

Difficulties with finding a job and being less paid for the same jobs comparing to men… This is the real problem in my country (Poland). When the fact that you’re a woman stands in a way, it means something is really wrong and we need to make a change. There are countries where women don’t have the same rights, are not allowed to be educated or there’s anything else that women fight for. I think this is a very important matter and I would like to spend my life fighting for improving women’s situation in very possible way.

Now a little bit of history. The world we live in is going through the 3rd wave of feminism (articles that’s I’ve read probably meant Western World in general). A lot has changed for 19th century but there is still a lot to be done. It’s been just 100 years since women can vote… Now women got more freedom… We can finally be university students… And it matters the most to me because in another time and place I wouldn’t have a chance to be a master like I am right now… And it haven’t always been like that! In Middle Ages women could be educated. Next centuries brought this strange conviction that a woman needs to be silly but pretty… Because what? We’re easier to be obedient and tamed then huh? Na-ah, we got power and this the only truth. Men are afraid of us and that’s why they told us what they want us to be. Because where the human world would be without mothers, wives and daughters? It wouldn’t exist at all.

So, I believe that women should be free to do whatever they want to and there shouldn’t be any political borders or men’s wish. Also, women should be equal to men after receiving these rights.

Ok, I think I’ve said enough… So, that’s it! Such a little feminist manifesto!

Well, if you wanna listen to something feminist today to celebrate this holiday… I recommend Little Mix! But there are absolutely more powerful women artists… I’m sure that everybody can find themselves a favorite one.
