I’ve been to the Norblin’s Factory again yesterday and I saw the exposition called Save the Planet – Ocalmy planetę what is a multisensory exposition showing the history of Earth. There is also a nice music inspired by The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi playing in the background. It also tries to tell us what we can do to save the Earth.

The exposition is made of four acts. It starts with the galaxy and forming our universe, then we can see flowers, animals, birds, fishes etc… And it all is called Spring. We’re Not Here Yet. Summer is showing the birth of civilization. Autumn is about our modern world destroying our planet. If we don’t do anything, minions of species will extinct until the end of century. Including human race. Winter is all about the change that we can still make. If we take future in our hands, we can guarantee a safe future for our children. There was also a very relaxing room where you can watch what’s inside of Earth laying down for a minute. I’ve never seen an exposition where you can literally put your head on the mattress and just look around, listening to calm music…

What can we do to save the planet? First of all, we need to plant more trees because this is what slows down the global warning. And also, stop cutting and destroying already existing woods. We can also segregate garbage, save water, eat more vegetables, buy only necessary things (it’s about the food waste and in general shopping) etc. When I look out the window, I must say also don’t throw out garbage on streets, to forests and rivers, seas, oceans. Is it really that hard to put a plastic bottle to the garbage can?

The sign that climate change is real is for example my yesterday experience… I went to the factory with my parents, we left the car in the shopping mall, went to the underground and in the way back home, it seemed warner. We got to the car, it was just about 1,5 km away from home and the sudden hail came around. The wind was so strong that it just put the hood up! I thank God that nobody was in front of us or behind because I commanded my dad to stop immediately in the middle of the road and fix it. I mean it was dangerous to keep driving with literally eyes closed. And later he said that it was just few centimeters away from breaking the windscreen… Well… And when we got home, weather changed. At first it turned in snowing and then clouds disappeared and it was sunny again. It all happened in less than an hour!

So, the exposition Save the Planet is highly recommended. Almost all subtitles are Polish but it’s not necessary to understand the main message of it in my opinion. So, if you’re visiting Warsaw this month or next, think about going to the Norblin’s Factory. It’s really worth it!
