New song Still Alive by Demi Lovato is a track promoting the film Scream VI. I don’t like horrors and thrillers but this tune fits this genre quite well. Because emo style and vulnerable rock music about living and dying is simply the same wave in the ocean as films that are made to scare people…

Still Alive is about going through a dark time and it’s something more than just about surviving. It’s a fight when your heart chooses to beat. It’s like you’re strong enough to still live despite all… And it’s full of references that can recall horror movies shots…

I’m so happy that Demi continues this rock era. And it’s so exciting to see new music coming and coming! I’ve written the review of Holy Fvck lately and I’ve never thought that I would get another reason to write a blog post so soon! I honestly love Still Alive and it would fit the Deluxe version of the record if such a version ever comes out…

Now I’m like to talk about horrors for a minute. Why people like to watch films that bring this dark thrill and spark of fear? I personally hate this idea! Because I hate the feeling of being scared… I simply don’t see the point in such a entertainment. I believe that world is enough scary sometimes and we don’t need another reason created by people… How about you, guys? Do you like horrors? And why?
