Today I have another French poem for you! But this time it’s a very short one, and it comes from the same chapter as the one I gave you last month. So, today’s poem is ‘Sur l’amour’, which means in English ‘About Love’.

These poems come from my debut poetry book ‘Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books…’. In French it will be ‘Il était deux volumes de poésie…’.

We can say that it’s possible to live without love

But our lives would be very empty then

We can say that it’s possible to live without air

But our lungs would be very empty then
