Wrocław, Poland. Summer Trip, pt. 1

Yes, I’ve been to Wrocław lately! It was a very short visit, but it was lovely, and I will definitely come back there one day!

So, on 16th August, I woke up at 4 AM, caught a train at 6, and at 11 AM, I was already there. It was a show day (Ed Sheeran), so I only went to one place – the National Museum in Wrocław. The next post will be all about the show, so expect such a post tomorrow!

The National Museum is huge! There are many expositions (I counted 6) and even more temporary ones, but it’s not all totally free on Saturdays. I only saw all the art that was free to see. And I was in a hurry because I knew the show was about to start soon!

Pretty place. Totally recommended! Seeing the painting of St. Agnes, who looked quite like me, was probably my favorite thing! Oh, and that river is the Odra. Because of it, Wrocław is called a Polish Venice… And I totally understand now why! And that’s also a reason why I want to go there one day again… Such a pretty place, honestly!

The next day, I also had time to see only one place again – the Royal Palace, which is also the Museum of Wrocław. You can see a few pictures from there below.

Yes, there is the garden, an exposition about the history of the city (it’s 1000 years old!), and a few royal chambers (the king Frederick Wilhelm III was really there!) to see. Totally recommended once again!

Oh, I also saw this church in the morning that Sunday, so let me show you this as an addition below.

After all of that, I went to Wałbrzych, and you will get a separate post about it later, too!

So, that’s all today, and until the next time!

Love, A.A.
