Today I have one of my favorite chapters for you! It’s full of fun, drama (but there’s more comedy, definitely), love, and music. I hope you’ll like it!

Dear Diary,
I don’t write very often, and I think you must start getting used to it. But what interesting news I have… Well, Joe really flew to Warsaw and spoke to me two days ago. As he was walking down the street, he bumped into a black-haired girl. Her name is Amelia, and she bears a striking resemblance to Alice. He told me so! So, what have I done? I quickly called my friend. What did she tell me? That she dyed her hair, changed her name, and she’s trying to go on with her life, but now things got complicated again because she kind of accidentally met Joe on the street. What do I think about this whole situation? That they will find each other even on the Moon… Hmm… Maybe I’ll wait for further developments and also fly to Warsaw later… I’m afraid that boy will find out about the real “self” of Amelia and will give her a chance. Or he’ll give her a chance just because she reminds him of his beloved girl… And all I’ll be able to do is buy a whole bunch of cats… I’m sure he’ll expose her eventually… But well, what can I do?… Hmm… It’s all so messed up… Anyway… I also decided to dye my hair and I have Alice’s old hair colour now. Maybe this will work on Joe more than anything else?
However… Now it’s memories time!

It’s been two weeks since the party. It was a time of rest and getting ready for Christmas, because there were literally a few days left. But what about me and Joe? Nothing! That’s all I can say… “I don’t know if he even wants to be friends with me anymore… I’ve made a great mess… I think I shouldn’t go to the EP release party at Hoops’ place. I need to talk to someone about this…” – that’s what I was thinking then.
I left my room and went downstairs. The parents, of course, were busy with their own business… Checking tests… Samantha was there too but on the other side of the living room. She was talking to someone on the phone, and she just waved her hand the way it meant not to disturb her. So I went to the kitchen, grabbed a small package of peanuts, and left the house. I decided to go to a nearby park. I sat down on a bench under the shade of a tree and started devouring my snack. When the package was empty, I stood up and threw it in the trash. Then I noticed a brown hair in the distance. Some dark-haired boy was sitting on a bench and talking with a black-haired friend… It was Joe and Brian! I moved a little closer, hid behind a tree, and could hear their conversation quite well.
– I’m terribly broken-hearted that Laura treated me this way. I trusted her! We were friends. And now our relationship hit the trash… – the brunet was complaining.
– I understand you perfectly. I was in a similar situation once. I think you should break up with her as soon as possible… If you haven’t yet… I’m sure you’d feel better then – the black-haired boy advised him like that.
– Yes, I know. You’re right. But I don’t have the courage yet. I can’t even look at her… And two weeks have passed.
– Someday the pain will go away.
– But the wound will remain.
They became silent for a moment. Brian was thinking about something as he was looking at his friend. And my Joe was always philosophizing, as you can see, diary! He even had a thoughtful expression on his face… This bench was sideways, so I could see such things…
– You know what? Sometimes I wonder if you’re a guy or a girl – Brian finally said.
– Oh, come on. Not now. I don’t want to hear this kind of words of wisdom of yours.
The black-haired boy started laughing. Well. It was just a joke. Joe is a sensitive man, but who said it can’t be like that? What’s so wrong about that? Why should sensitivity be the factor that decides whether a man is a real man or not?
Brian stopped laughing after a moment and stood up.
– Then maybe let’s go play on the console.
– Is that even a question? Yes, of course! – the brunet got up too.
They both left, and I was still standing behind the tree trying to understand their words. Typical boys. They go from serious to childish things very easily… Yep…
After a while I woke up from the trance and decided I needed to talk to someone. Taylor or Sindy? Hmm… Let it be Sindy. I took out the phone and called my friend.
– Hi, Sindy. Can I come over?
– Sure. My house is open for you night and day.
– Hah. Thanks. I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.
– OK. I’m waiting.
I hung up. How good it’s to have someone like this girl!
I hurriedly walked towards the exit of the park and rushed to my friend’s house. A quarter of an hour later I got to her front door and knocked. Soon after, I was sitting in her living room, and we started talking.
– Well, I’m listening. What brings you here? – she began.
– There is that Hoops’ party tonight, and I don’t know if I should go – I said without beating around the bush.
– Yeah, sure. Why not?
– Joe… Have you already forgotten? – I looked at her in disbelief.
– Oh. Well… – she was thoughtful for a moment. – But I think you should go anyway. For the rest of the Silver Trills for example?
– Do you know what? You’re right! After all, they’re my friends too. When it comes to Joe… – I began.
– Something happened? – she asked.
– I think he doesn’t even want to be friends with me anymore – I said looking at the floor.
– What? Where do such thoughts come from?
– I was at the park today and Joe and Brian were there too. I heard part of their conversation.
– What? You were eavesdropping again?! – she was a bit outraged. I gave her a murder’s gaze.
– Oh, stop. Does it matter anyway? I doubt it… What time does this party even start? – I looked at my watch.
– At seven pm… Maybe we’ll go there together? You’ll feel more confident.
– We still have an hour… Ok. Thanks.
We hugged and chatted a bit more about everything and nothing. Just two blonde girls hanging out together.
Later we were on our way to the Hoops and Hoods’ houses. Let me remind you that both were next to each other, and the party was at the house of Joe and Mike, what means the Hoops. Once we got there, I knocked, and Joe opened the door. “Beautiful beginning…” – flashed through my mind.
– Alright. Come in – he said, and he seemed unsettled seeing me.
We obediently went inside. Honestly, this place hasn’t changed at all since my first visit. As before, the scene in the living room caught my attention. Well, you must have the imagination to put things like that in such places…
After a while, Taylor joined us, and we started chatting.
– Hello girls! How long I haven’t seen both of you! – Tay greeted and hugged us then.
– Well, now you see us – the blonde replied laughing. – Is Brian already here?
– Yes. He’s fooling around with Pete and Harry – Tay pointed at the boys, standing by the window.
– What are they doing there? – I asked, squinting.
– I saw them eating jellybeans fifteen minutes ago – the brunette said.
At that moment, the black-haired boy entered the stage and grabbed the guitar. Everyone knew what he was going to do…
– Oh, no… Brian, leave that guitar! – Sindy ran fast to the boy and snatched the instrument from his hands before it was too late.
– But there’s a hidden bomb in there! – he yelled at her.
– There’s nothing inside, asshole! Too much sugar! Again! Must you always do this to me?!
– But I didn’t save the world. You didn’t let me – he said making a beaten puppy face.
– Enough of that! You’re going back home! – she pulled him towards the exit of the house.
Me and Taylor stood frozen not believing our eyes… We recovered after a minute.
– Whole life with lunatics… – the brunette said.
I just made a facepalm and looked involuntarily at Pete and Harry. They kept doing what they were doing which is just fooling around. It’s hard for me to call it anything else… You’ll know what I mean soon, diary…
I pulled my friend’s hand, and we approached them.
– Ehmm… May I know what you guys are doing? – I asked.
– Peter is counting my armpit hairs – Harry said proudly.
– Yuck! Are you guys bored? – the brunette asked with disgust.
– Well, maybe a little… – Pete told her.
At that very moment, Joe and Mike approached us. The first one tried to avoid me with his eyes. “Nice…” – I thought.
– It’s time for us. We can start our little concert right now – Mike said.
After these words, all five of them went on the stage.
In general, it was an interesting idea with such an event. They invited friends, family, and neighbours to celebrate the release night of the EP. Songs that were performed are: Untouchable, Kisses, Revolution, Stay In My Head, Hold Me Tight, Madly Falling In Love, Just Be My Angel. I have to admit it was quite a good show. A little bit of rock and ballads. New songs and a few already familiar ones. From the EP and from the album that was supposed to come out in January. I liked the last song the most. It’s so… Relaxing… And touching… Someone close to you dies, but the deceased becomes the guardian angel of the lyrical subject… That’s what this song is about… Something beautiful… Poetic…
After this little show, the band left the stage and Joe walked towards me. “I’m already scared…” – I thought… As you can see, this music changed something in his heart that he had to come to me right after…
– I’d like to apologize… – he said, looking down at his Converse.
– What? I’m the one who should be apologizing here, so… I’m sorry.
– It’s ok now… I’m sorry for acting like this lately. I was a little sad, but I hope you still want to be friends with me. After all, we work together, so you know…
We didn’t know then that it was the end of the series… We got the news just after Christmas… Well… But the excuse was good, my dear Joe. And yes… It wasn’t the kind of break-up Brian meant… In retrospect, I see it now because we met a few more times after that and tried to keep it going, but in February it was a categorical end of everything in the end… Well… But let’s get back to this moment of apology… I always must look ahead… Eh…
I lifted his head by the chin. I wanted him to look me in the eye. Then I asked:
– Are we good?
– Yes – he said with a slight smile.
After saying that, I hugged him. I got my buddy back! YEAH! Friendship and trust are the foundations of any relationship, so you know, diary… It was very important to me…
However, our hug didn’t last long enough because of someone. And this someone was poking us. Oh…
– Brian? I thought you already went home – the brunet was surprised to see his friend.
– Sindy dragged me out of here, but I escaped her – he said, smiling.
After a while, the blonde appeared next to us. Well… She wasn’t too happy about it…
– Brian! For the God’s sake, why are you doing this to me?! – she hissed in anger.
– Ah! Godzilla is attacking me again! – he screamed at the top of his lungs.
After that, he ran up the stairs. In the meantime, he knocked Harry down who was walking towards us. The three of us ran to him and Joe helped his cousin up.
– Are you OK? – I asked concerned.
– Yeah, I’m fine… Can someone tell me what it was…? – he was so stunned. After saying that, the brunet patted him on the back.
– Brian is just jelly high. Remember to NEVER give them to him… The jerk is dead now – Sindy put the most emphasis on the word “never” and Harry nodded to show her that he understood.
After this short statement, she walked briskly towards the stairs. After a while, everyone heard a male scream, but it sounded a bit girly, and then we all heard loudly shouted words “Please. Don’t beat me!”. Yep… Our dear black-haired friend lost his head because of sugar… If it’s just sugar… God only knows what they actually put in those jellybeans…
Soon after that, we saw a disgruntled Sindy pulling Brian by the ear towards the exit. All invited guests were staring at them silently.
As the couple left, the house buzzed with life again. I chatted a bit with my friends and after a while a cheerful Tay stood next to us.
– I was in the restroom. Did I miss anything interesting? – she asked.
– No, no – we said in unison.
– I don’t believe you… Laura? Can you tell me what’s going on here? Are you and Joe…?
– Well, we…
– It’s good. You don’t have to worry – the brunet interrupted me, smiling.
– Okay… And you, Harry? You look like you’ve just had a close meeting with the ground – she said, and Joe and I burst out laughing.
– What’s so funny here for both of you? – brunet asked us and looked just so unhappy about it. – You hit the jackpot – he said to Tay.
– Okay. I won’t ask for details – she said surprised.
After a while, Pete and Mike joined us. They both giggled like madmen. After a moment, Pete announced with a laughter:
– Wow! Brian just outdid himself! And Sindy’s rage! And you, Harry… What a beautiful downfall!
Just after saying that, he gave a high five to Mike still laughing.
– What? I don’t understand anything… – Taylor said.
Harry just felt insulted and went outside. Pete at once followed him, shouting “Sorry, dude.” After this scene, Mike, the only good and normal family member from the Hoops’ side, decided to summarize the recent events to his cousin. The brunette just kept laughing, hearing about all that she missed. When the boy finished his story, Sindy reappeared. She even looked pleased.
– And what? Brian’s at home? – I asked my friend.
– Yes. When I left, he was sound asleep in his warm bed. He looks so innocent when he’s sleeping… – she got a little dreamy, so I shook her a little by the sleeve. And then she continued: – Do you know what he said to me before he fell asleep?
– What? – Joe asked.
– He said, “I love you, mommy” and put his thumb in his mouth – after her words, our whole gang started laughing, and the guests just looked at us like we were crazy.
– Wait… After all, his mother died a month ago. Lung cancer… As you can see, he misses her… – Tay said sympathetically.
– I don’t know what I would do if our mother passed away so suddenly… – Joe said sadly.
– Don’t worry, kid. Our mom will definitely want to live to see your wedding – Mike said, then patted his brother on the back.
After this gesture, Joe looked at me. I saw the sadness in his blue eyes. I could read from them hope for our relations improvement. He wished it could go back to the way it used to be, but unfortunately… Nothing could ever feel perfect between us…
I think that I’d like to be his wife… But I don’t think it could come true… I feel that it’s not meant for me and Joe… Probably Alice is this lucky one…
By the way, sad thing about Brian’s mother. She died while Joe was recovering. It was a blessing in disguise that the boy could care about his own business then and not bother with work. Sometimes you need to know what’s more important…
My thoughts were interrupted by the return of Harry and Peter. They both looked happy.
– Why are you all standing sadly like pegs? – Pete asked. Automatically, everybody started to grin.
– It doesn’t matter. Why are you both so happy? Something happened? – Sindy asked. The boys exchanged mysterious gazes.
– This event is to celebrate the release of our EP. We both think we should do something crazy for this occasion. All of us. But guests must leave at first – Harry explained.
– Okay. What are we supposed to do? – I asked.
– Jump into the pool with clothes on. From the roof – Peter announced, smiling widely. He was obviously proud of himself.
– Excuse me?! Have you both gone mad?! It’s dangerous! – the brunette yelled at her brother and friend.
– Hell yeah! Let’s do it! – Joe ignored her.
He enjoyed the idea too much to worry about the danger…
Me and Sindy just stood there like pillars of salt with our mouths wide open. Suddenly, the blonde started choking. I screamed her name.
– Relax. It’s just a fly – she comforted me.
“Well, nice consolation!” – I still agree with my thoughts today.
– Girls don’t have to do it. But we would love to – Mike said and gave the guys a high-five. – It’s just a bit of a shame that Brian already left… – he got upset.
Harry disappeared for a moment. When he returned, he had the camera in his hands.
– You, Laura, will be recording us – he told me.
I agreed, and after a while, the Hoops and Hoods began to ask guests to leave the house. It was almost midnight, so the EP was going to be available soon.
After a few minutes, the house was empty, and at exactly midnight the boys were already on the roof and were getting ready to jump. I had already started recording, and Taylor was lamenting about male thoughtlessness. Sindy was just chuckling softly in the meantime.
The first jump took place in the end. It was Mike. Then Joe, Pete, and Harry. It was quite a spectacle! By the way, of course, we had to be splashed with water. Then somehow suddenly the brunette changed her mind and jumped into the pool from the roof too, shouting “Rock’n’roll”. Everyone was cheering and laughing. In the end, Joe swam to the side and started calling me, so I dutifully walked over.
– Well, what do you want, grouchy? – I asked him.
– Bend over. I want to tell you something – he asked. I did what he wanted.
– Come a little closer – he said, and I leaned in a little more.
– Oh, come on. Otherwise, I think I’m going to fall into the pool – I said slightly annoyed.
– Your hair sparkles nicely in the moonlight… – he whispered and grabbed my hand, dragging me into the pool. I screamed like I was being skinned. Why not?!
– What’s wrong with you?! The camera is all wet! – I yelled at him, and he was laughing like mad.
– Don’t worry, it’s waterproof – he said and then swam to Mike and splashed him, and he did the same. Everyone was laughing.
– Since all of you are in the pool, I’ll be no exception – Sindy announced, and jumped into the water as well. After that, Tay swam to us.
– The best day ever! – she screamed and hugged us.
After that, we started splashing each other with liquid. We were so happy that we didn’t notice that Pete suddenly appeared next to us. He was holding a full bowl in his hands. I didn’t know where it came from, but OK… And why would it be there if we were in the pool…
He swung it and poured its contents over the brunette. She screamed and gave her friend a murder’s look. The boy just smiled because he was proud of himself.
Suddenly the girl fell into his arms and… Kissed him? After a while they were under the water still in each other’s arms. Me and Sindy were only able to say “Aww”. Typical… But also surprising… Did you notice anything sparking around them, my dear diary?! I obviously talk about love hanging in the air…
Eventually, we all got out of the pool and went back to the Hoops’ house. When we dried off by the fireplace, holding cups of hot chocolate in our hands and wrapped in blankets, it was already 2 A.M., so my friend and I decided to stay at their place. We spent the night chatting and the newly released EP was playing in the background repeatedly. None of us felt tired. It’s just impossible to think about a warm bed in such a nice company! However, around 5 A.M. we decided to rest a bit. Sindy and I slept on the couches in the living room. How good that they had two! And Taylor and Harry went to their house. Peter was supposed to spend the night in the living room of the second house. Soon we all fell asleep…
“I had an amazing time with my friends. We won’t forget all of this for a long time…” – that was my last thought before I fell asleep…

That’s what happened at the party! As you can see, there was a lot to remember… Hmm… After that, the most interesting things happened, so in the next posts I will tell you right away about the final breakup with Joe, meeting Alice on the Internet, and my new film in the end. In January, our series was officially cancelled, so I was able to start a new project in February. I met my chosen family for the last time on 2nd February, Joe broke up with me on 3rd Feb, but I knew that it was the end a long before he “met” Alice… It happened in December… As you can see, diary, it’s time to come back to those days when I began writing here… I promise it all will be super interesting!

What can I say? Well, that’s exactly how it is! But I must admit that I didn’t notice it earlier… But Alice opened my eyes with these wise words… She’s totally right…
