Dear Diary,
You won’t guess where I am now. On the plane (yes, I finished working on the film a long time ago, at the end of March). Plus, I’m not alone here! Silver Trills, Sam, Sindy, and Brian are with me here. Where are we going? To Warsaw! But why? Because tomorrow is Alice’s sixteenth birthday! She has been a part of our family since December, so I had to think of something to prove to her that she’s not alone. Her birthday is the best occasion for this! Such a surprise, I mentioned about it earlier…
As I announced my plans to the rest, everyone was happy, Joe of course the most! The boy is now walking around the plane, screaming with happiness like a little child. Yep… No, I’m not jealous at all… No, and it’s not dangerous at all…
I’m curious how my friend will react when I write her to come to such a hotel tomorrow. There will be her birthday party! Sixteen must not be forgotten! By the way, I’ll meet her friends. One of them is very similar to her but a few years younger. She’s a fan of mine, so I think we’ll have a lot of fun talking. If it’s not the type that is only screaming with joy… The second girl she told me about is a year younger than her, and they were at the Silver Trills show together. Harry is praising her hair to the heavens. Yep…
And one more thing! Joe told me yesterday that he would like to ask her that magical question! “Will you be my girlfriend?”. Okay, I’m jealous, but I won’t destroy his plans! I’m not like that… It reminds me of the first time I was jealous of him. Then maybe listen to this story right now…

January 2013. The premiere of the first episode of the series was already on TV, and what I felt is indescribable because there are no such words. We were almost done filming the first season, and it was Christmas time. Each of us returned to our normal rhythm of life and was finally able to rest a bit. There were two more episodes left until the end of the work, and we were supposed to finish in mid-February. On the occasion of the end of work, our whole pack went to the bowling alley, and I must admit that it was very nice. We are all very close, and this is actually my second family. I have no doubts about it, but maybe I won’t get ahead of myself…
“Joe may have forgotten about me by now, but you never know what’s really on his mind. The very thought is scary…” – I was thinking at that time. It was probably the second most important issue of those days for me.
I was disturbed by the sound of the front doorbell. I was sitting in my beautiful living room, and someone decided to visit me. I walked over and opened it. Who did I see? Such a one brunet. It was our first meeting since December, by the way.
– Hi, Lau. You won’t believe what I’ll tell you!
– Hi. Yes, yes. I missed you, too. Maybe you want to come in?
His joy just surprised me a lot… That’s why I acted like that then. Anyways, some time passed, we were a bit older and closer to each other. Such familiarity between us just became natural.
– Do you remember that movie I told you about?
– Well, yes. It’s about surfing. Musical. But what’s the connection between gingerbread and the windmill[1]?
– The fact that flour is made in the windmill, and flour is one of the ingredients of gingerbread.
Joe likes to cook… And philosophize… That’s why he talks like that sometimes. I’m used to it, I don’t know about you, diary.
– What? What are you talking about?
He looked at me with fear in his eyes. Ok… What’s going on in his head… I’ve never guessed… What did scare him so badly then…?
– Beach & Rocks – he said these words proudly.
– And? I don’t understand your excitement.
– I got the lead role in it – he grinned.
– Oh. Cool. Congratulations – after these words, I hugged him.
I had to hug him. I don’t know why. Oh, wait, I know! Such a habit… Friends can hug, too. Why not? It would only be strange if they kissed… No, no… Such things only lovers want to do…
– Thanks. In an hour, I have a meeting with the girl who got the second lead role. Her name is Eve. We need to get to know each other a bit before we start filming. Just like us a year ago. Then it’s more pleasant to work.
– I guess she’s beautiful. That girl.
– But not like you.
After these words, his eyes got big, he blushed, and hid his face in his hands. He said what he was thinking faster than he thought what he’s saying… I have a sweet friend, right? So honest and stuff.
– Aww. Thanks. That’s very nice of you.
He looked at me and smiled.
– Tomorrow is the premiere of such a film. Maybe you could come and see it with me? The way a friend can go out with a friend?
– I think it’s a good idea… Wait a minute! Tomorrow? You wanna see that movie about monkeys?!
– Is it a problem?
– Of course not!
– Okay, but don’t yell at me.
He looked at me like a hurt little boy. Life is beautiful…
– What? Aaa! Sorry…
It’s not my fault that I have a strong operatic voice! Meanwhile, the boy looked at his watch and said:
– I must go. So, see ya tomorrow?
– Sure. See ya tomorrow!
Brunet left my house, and I went to the window to watch him go. He noticed it and waved at me. I answered him the same.
I think it’s funny. We’re friends, but I can see he treats me like Taylor. How can I see it? Because of course I know her! I can see this family bond between them. Something similar connects him with me, too… At least at that very moment, I thought so…
I was still standing by the window when I noticed Sindy coming to see me, but not alone as she was accompanied by no one else but Tay. I was about to hear the bell soon…

I was sitting in my room with the girls, and we were just talking. About what? Film or book…
– I like both, but books are a thousand times better – that’s what I think.
– How can you like to read? This is so boring. And there is always more going on in movies – that’s what Sindy thinks.
– I prefer books. After all, they develop our imaginations and all that scientific stuff – Taylor said.
– By the way… I’m going to the cinema tomorrow.
– No way! You’re seeing that film about monkeys? Then you must be going with someone – how not to notice the spark in Taylor’s eye?
– Well, I’m going with Joe. He invited me.
– Ohh lalala. I knew this day would come eventually – Sindy laughed.
Ah, you… Sindy… Even today, I make the murderer’s look in my mind…
– Lau, I don’t know something here, right?
– We’re just going to this unfortunate premiere.
– Yes, yes. And in the dark, you will nothing but kiss.
Sindy made a duck face. “Does anyone have a baseball bat?” – I thought. I was really angry then, hearing such comments…
Luckily, at this moment, I got a text message. From Sam. She was about to get home soon. And where was she? She was dealing with one of the Hoop brothers. Don’t ask for details because I don’t know anything. Or maybe I know…?
– My sister will be home soon.
– Oh, that’s fine. I’d love to talk to her.
– So, maybe Sindy and I go out? To the park?
– It’s fine by me – the blonde said.

We were sitting in the park and talking. Somehow, my buddies’ words weren’t reaching me at all. Don’t ask me what I was thinking about, diary… I don’t remember it now…
– I can’t believe that in a month, we will be finishing shooting the first season, and the series has already had its premiere! The premiere of the second one is coming next year! It’s all so magical and crazy, isn’t it, Lau?
– … – I said that I wasn’t there…
– Hello, Lau? Wake up! – she screamed this exclamation in my ear.
– What, where, how, why? Something’s burning?! – it made me get up from the bench.
– Yes. There is smoke coming out of your brain. What were you thinking about?
– About nothing interesting…
I was thinking about tomorrow… Wow, I remember something…
In the distance, I noticed Joe with some girl. It was probably Eve; he had told me about her earlier. The girl didn’t look special… Brunette, very short, she nearly looked like a child compared to him (and he had his seventeenth birthday on January 1), although she was older than him. Also, sun-kissed complexion and really dark eyes…
– Sindy! Look! – I pointed my finger at the pair.
– Ohh lala. I didn’t know our Joe has a girlfriend.
– Because he hasn’t. He will play with her in the movie – I nodded my head at them.
– And you’re telling me about it now? Why don’t I know anything about it?!
The eyes of the blonde scared me a bit… Well, as you can see, Joe wanted me to be first, and no one knew what he would be doing as soon as we finished working on our series. I mean the first season.
I suggested following them and eavesdropping. Sindy couldn’t believe I was serious, and today, I understand how irrationally I was acting right then. Well, she finally made up her mind because she knew I would have followed them on my own, so she had no choice but to stay with me. Finally, she had to ask me if I was getting jealous of him by any chance. I didn’t confess it to her then, but we both knew the truth…

We approached them from behind. They just sat on the bench. Of course, we couldn’t get too close not to decamouflage ourselves.
– I’m very happy that you’re the one I’ll work with – Joe said.
I started to feel that emotions began to boil inside of me…
– Well, me too. You’re a really cool and handsome guy.
– Thanks.
“Does anyone have a chainsaw?” – I thought in response to these prolatenesses.
– You know what, Sindy? I need to talk to him now – I whispered in my friend’s ear.
– What? So, I guess I must be running away.
The girl ran behind a nearby tree. Are you kidding me? I took a deep breath and stood up.
– Hi, Joe. What’s up, buddy?
I tried to say it lightly. It turned out tragically… They both put their eyes on me.
– Oh. Hi, Lau. What are you doing here?
– I’ve been walking around with Sindy when I noticed you. I decided to come up and say hi.
I couldn’t stop smiling. They both got up from the bench. Then came the moment of getting to know Eve. We shook hands. The girl has an Australian accent and is a really pretty girl. “I already don’t like her…” – flashed through my mind.
– You know… I must go. See you tomorrow, Joe! – I said to the boy.
– See you tomorrow, Lau.
I went away far enough to still hear them, but they couldn’t see me anymore. I hid behind a tree like Sindy did before.
I was acting stupidly, and now I know it. We had just got acquainted with Eve, and nothing was special about this meeting, to be honest. In addition, Joe didn’t ask where Sindy had gone. Maybe he believed it was a coincidence, maybe not. Who knows that?
After my departure, they simply said goodbye. She kissed his cheek, and I could only think, “Someone finally give me that chainsaw!”. The girl was gone, and the brunet looked even happier. Our beginnings were definitely colder than this… And it could only mean one thing… The family can start preparing the wedding presents… I really thought so…

I was standing behind the tree, and I felt emotions boiling in me more and more. I was jealous, or what was it? That’s when I began to realize the truth. I closed my eyes and after a while I felt someone touching my arm. It turned out that it was such a one brunet… Man, he found me!
– Lau, are you crying? – I shed just one tear…
– What? Me? No way. It’s just in your mind – I wiped it off quickly.
– No, it’s not. Look at me.
I obediently fulfilled his request.
– I know you’ve been eavesdropping.
– What? How do you know that?
– I have a sixth sense, and I just feel it when you’re close – he smiled.
– I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have…
– It’s okay, but you should know that I’m a good actor, so don’t worry.
– You pretended it all?
I was really impressed. Well, he was complimenting her on purpose, and maybe the kiss was also fake because he told her that his friends were following them. I’ll never know the truth, but I think that’s what happened then. He wanted me to be jealous. Anyways, he admitted it, but in other words:
– I wanted you to learn a lesson, but I didn’t think you would care so much. Is my Lau jealous?
– What? Me? Jealous? That’s a good joke, buddy!
I got a little nervous and hit him on the shoulder a little too hard. Why was I so tense?
– Relax! You want to kill me?
– Of course not… I wouldn’t have anyone to argue with.
– Very funny.
– I know.
Brunet rolled his eyes and asked:
– So, see ya tomorrow? I’ll come for you at 3 P.M.
This is where I suddenly found myself completely tongue-tied. Why was it so hard to speak? “What’s wrong with me?!” – I was thinking frantically for the rest of the day. Seriously.
We finally said goodbye and smiled at each other. After this short conversation, we went our separate ways. Short, but how substantial!

I was sitting on the couch at home, and I realized that for the past five minutes or so, someone had been standing in front of the door, calling. I hurriedly got up and let the stranger inside. It was Sindy. Funny but also scary. I forgot about her! I left her alone in the park!
– Hi. What happened to you that you haven’t been opening for so long?
– I was miles away…
– Oh. Who were you thinking about?
– Certainly not about him.
– Laura. Talk to me here and now. Everything.
– What? I know nothing.
– That’s Joe, right?
– No! – I literally shouted it. I wring my hands in despair over myself…
The blonde stood frozen with a look of surprise painted on her face. How strange that the obvious could still surprise her…
– You’re in love with Joe? I knew it would happen one day!
– No! Yes. I don’t know. Maybe…
Okay, I’ve never acted like this before, I admit. I lost my head for him. So suddenly! It’s probably because we didn’t see each other at all during this holiday break. And that scene in the park… In short, he achieved his goal and finally won my heart.
– How did it happen? He was a friend just in the morning.
– I don’t know. Don’t ask me.
I fell back on the couch with resignation and hid my face in my hands. I felt that she sat down next to me and hugged me.
– What am I supposed to do now? I don’t want to lose him – I whispered.
We stopped hugging, and my friend replied:
– Don’t worry about it. What will be, will be. And tomorrow you’re going to see the movie with him, right?
– Yeah.
– Then we must make a goddess out of you.
– But I like the natural look.
– Natural goddess, ok?
– Oh yeah – I smiled.
– So, keep it up – the girl laughed.
After that, we started searching for something suitable in my wardrobe for the next day. After a quarter of an hour, we found a green dress. Yep. This is what I wore for the “friendly” meeting with Joe.

New day.
I’m completely crazy! From the day before, I couldn’t stop thinking about him… “Ah, today is this day. I’m afraid that I will lose my mind and do something inappropriate. Cool…” – I was thinking all along. We were planning to go to the cinema as two friends. The movie that had a premiere then was about monkeys, such a science fiction, and everyone was expecting a flop. And Joe, however, wanted to find out the hard way with me by his side. Romantic, isn’t it?
I got out of bed and almost fell over. Joe! What have you done to me?! After an hour, I went downstairs to have breakfast. Yep, this activity took me so long… I mean, putting myself together and going downstairs… My sister was already in the kitchen. I took the cereal box from the cupboard and poured it into the bowl. In fact, almost all the content landed on the floor. Yep…
– Lau, are you feeling well?
– Yes. Absolutely yes.
– You know… I don’t believe you. Come here.
I walked over to her, and she was staring straight into my eyes for a while.
– Ehmm… Sam, what are you doing?
– I know what’s wrong with you. My sister fell in love.
– I have no idea what you’re talking about – I couldn’t help but smile.
– And it’s all clear now.
I think she enjoyed hearing the news… Well… I’m older, but it was the first time in my life that I started to feel like this… She already… Well… You know, diary… She was dating Joe’s brother… Two sisters in love with two brothers… Ah, these genes…
I didn’t eat breakfast. I couldn’t… I told my sister that I was going upstairs and that I would eat later. Of course, I stumbled on the stairs. Long live resourcefulness!

Joe was about to come over in twenty minutes. Man, I’d never been so nervous before. Even at the casting… I was ready sitting on the couch and feeling like I was going to be beheaded. It’s not a joke!
Suddenly, I got a text message from Sindy saying, “Good luck on your date ;)”. I wrote her back not too nicely. Yep… After a while, I heard the doorbell. So, these twenty minutes passed already?! When you only have one creature in your head, no wonder…
I walked over and opened it. It was Joe, of course. Why did I want to hug him so badly? Help!
– H… he… hey.
At first, I forgot how to use the tongue. It couldn’t be worse! Could it?
– Hi. You look nice.
– Thanks.
It’s getting hot in here, or is it just me?! I must have been blushing because the boy smiled. Then, there was a moment of awkward silence that lasted forever. “Can I hide somewhere already?” – I was thinking frantically.
– Maybe it’s time to go? – he asked.
– Yeah. Great idea.
After this tragic beginning, we left the house.

We were sitting in the cinema and the film started. We didn’t speak to each other the whole way. What a failure!
Suddenly, Joe whispered:
– Do you see that fly, too? – he pointed the finger at the invisible air.
– Where?
I looked at the empty spot where he had pointed his finger a moment before, and the boy took advantage of the situation and put his arm around me. I just put my head on his chest. I also used this situation as well as he did… “So, there’s still hope…” – I thought, smiling gently.

The movie ended, and as soon as we left the cinema, I don’t even know how we ended up holding hands and feeling good about it.
– Laura, can I ask you a question?
– I’m listening.
– Who am I to you?
I was a little stunned, but I decided to answer as my heart was whispering to me.
– You are the most important human in my life.
In response, he just hugged me. I wished it could last forever!

Ah, such nice memories… It was a long time ago, but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t important. For me, it will always be… The continuation will only be better and better. But it doesn’t mean that it will be sweet and nice, because it’s never like that in real life…
Let’s change the subject a little bit… The premiere of our series had just come, so no one was following us yet, and the premieres of films were still available to us only in a normal “human” form. But this state of being nobody couldn’t last too long after that… The premiere of the first episode of our series was watched by five million people! And it kept to the end within 5-3M, so well… It’s good that fame and money came, but later… It’s good that we were alone then, and no one asked us any questions because even we didn’t know what we were doing…
When it comes to school, if you are wondering, diary, Joe and I were having private high school lessons. Teachers were coming to our houses when we had some free time. Sindy had already finished school, and Brian was also free from this obligation. Lucky man. He had more time to rest, and we had more to do than others. I mean me and Joe. At the beginning of work on the series, there were no problems with education because it was still summer, and Joe and I were just starting the adventure with a new school. The problem started when we were already working on the fifth episode, if I remember correctly, because that’s when September came.
That’s probably enough of supplements for today. Yup. I wrote quite enough. How good that it doesn’t shake too much in planes…

You know whose words these are. Ah, I can’t wait to meet her! It will be really something! And her friends are definitely as nice as she is! Life is beautiful when you meet beautiful people! Of course, I talk about the features of the character…
