Titanic & Cabinet of European Art

I saw two very interesting expositions this month, and today I’d like to tell you a very few words about them.

The first thing that I saw was Titanic: The Artifact Exposition. As the title says, it was all about real objects that were found at the bottom of the ocean. It was also the gallery, so I saw a very interesting multimedia kind of presentation of Titanic.

This exposition is open until 30th March, and I truly recommend it. If you’re planning to come to Warsaw next month, you need to go to SOHO Art Center to see it.

The second exposition was called Cabinet of European Art, and it’s a temporary exposition that you see in the Royal Castle in Warsaw. As the name of the exposition says, it was inspired by the tradition of private museums that rich people were creating in their palaces in the 17th and 18th centuries. The exposition that I saw was made of a collection that belonged to the Ukrainian family of Chanenko, who lived in Kiev. You can see there about 40 paintings that represent Italian, French, Spanish, Polish, Dutch, and Flemish art.

This exposition is also open until 30th March, and you really need to see the castle if you haven’t yet!

That’s all for today. I’ll be back on Monday, so until then!

Love, A.A.
