I told you on my social media lately that I discovered a lot of cool new music, and today’s post will be all about it!
The first thing that I’d like to write about is the album rosie by Rosé. I really like two songs from it – toxic till the end and APT feat. Bruno Mars. These two songs totally blew my mind and it made me check out the rest.
The second thing is two songs with Joe Jonas by Alex Warren & Ela Taubert. One song is Burning Down and the second one is ¿Cómo Pasó?. I found these songs before that fire in LA, so I feel like Cassandra right now, you know…
Now I feel like it’s a right moment to mention the new Jonas Brothers song! It’s called Slow Motion and it was produced by Marshmello. Honestly, that’s probably my fav DJ…
It would be a perfect spot to talk about Demi Lovato now but unfortunetly she hasn’t put out any new music yet… And that’s why this rock spot will go to The Driver Era now! They put out two really good songs lately – Touch and Same Old Story. I’m absolutely obsessed with the first title, and the second one is about a really old story which we hope to never end…
More rock but less poppy (ha!)? The Lumineers came back with three new songs lately! One title is Same Old Song – which is very similar to the song above, and the second release is double – made of You’re All I Got & So Long. I love all these songs so much, and I truly can’t choose the best one… They are all so different!
Now the song that made me want to write this post… So, Head Down is a great comeback of Cher Lloyd! She’s an independent artist now, and I support this new journey of hers with all of my heart!
The next song is Carpet Burn by Bradley Simpson. I can’t wait to hear his solo record… Honestly, all these songs that came out so far are such rare lyrical masterpieces…
The last thing today is a record once again. It’s SOS Deluxe: LANA by SZA. It’s a veery long album made of two parts in my mind – new bonus songs no. 1-14 and the old record no. 15-38. And when it comes to the genre… It’s a very different album than all those above, but it’s still a very interesting discovery to me, honestly. Some of those sounds are really beautiful like Good Days or No More Hiding, you know!
That’s all today. I hope you found your new favorite song here today, and until the next time!
Love, A.A.
