You asked, so I deliver! You can learn how I create characters from my books or short stories here today.

The first thing to look at is… Poetry (Once Upon a Time There Were Two Poetry Books…). Yes. You can find few characters there as well! But… It’s all about feelings and situations. So, you should never think like “The author felt like it, so they wrote it”… No! There is a lot of truth in that, but we CAN’T assume that it’s all an absolute truth. Because poetry is all about emotions to me and it’s the art of the word. And words I wrote should be separated from me, but at the same time it’s the story of my life that I created… I hope you get it! In other words – it’s all simply just inspired by my own experiences!

The next two books are novels and here you can find characters with names and the whole history… Well, such a Laura (Laura’s Diary – My Awesome Life) for example was created thanks to my own feelings, observations, and things I saw… Well, I simply decided to put it all in one person. I believe this way my characters are very real, but… You would have to put a few real people who inspired this one behind her… Including me!

The same thing happened with Unknown Future – Your Destiny, but not quite! Real people inspired me but I made up my own magical versions of them in my mind. It’s fantasy, so a lot was literally just a fantasy… But who knows… In some other worlds, they may really exist!

It looks very similar with Elizabeth from Great Lady’s Diary as well. She’s a fictional character but she’s also inspired by the historical figure – duchess Isabela Czartoryska. And you also got to add there some of my own feelings and experiences!

Let’s look at things that haven’t been published yet now… So, Adam from my short story from Reedsy for example (You Made Your Bed, Now You Gotta Sleep In It). This whole story was inspired by my father’s family and… My neighbor who said and did a few things I couldn’t forget. At the same time, I didn’t want this story to be too close to the truth, so I made up a few things. It’s fiction in the end, so it must be literary! And it’s impossible to know everything! But… Is it?
