Reedsy. Story no. 3

Have you read my latest short story? The one about World War II that is called You Made Your Bed, Now You Gotta Sleep In It? No? Then click here, in this post, to learn more!

This summer I had an idea to write a sister book to Forest Tales one day… It would be called City Tales, and this short story entitled You Made Your Bed, Now You Gotta Sleep In It would be the first taste of it. The first book is about my mother’s homeland and stories related to those grounds, and City Tales would be about my father’s family and Warsaw. He passed away 4 months ago, and during this period of time I found out about his family more than when he was still alive… So, yes. This new story was inspired by what I’ve learned… But not all my stories are very close to truth… It’s fiction after all! You need to remember that.

It will take me few years to write these books, but you can read few stories on Patreon and Reedsy already now. Feel free to read them and let me know what you think!

I work on the 4th story now, and I think I will need a break next month… But I may still want to write, who knows!

Still working on the surprise…

Love, A.A.

  1. What a beautiful reflection on your upcoming book project, City Tales! I can sense the heartfelt inspiration behind your story, and I admire your dedication to honoring your father’s family and their connections to Warsaw. Can you share a bit about the creative process behind crafting the characters and setting for this new tale? I look forward to reading more of your work!

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! I will write a separate blog post about the creative process. Thank you for inspiring me.
