New episode of my podcast Romantic Wednesdays With Poetry is here, so it’s time to give you a little blog post as well! This time is all about the Author’s Manifesto that is officially opening the first volume of my debut book called Love, Pain and Other Addictions.

Now it’s time to tell you something you can’t hear on the podcast. Well, it was a problematic episode to record. I mean it was so noisy, and I actually needed to do it three times! But in the end I got an episode that made me feel so proud of, and next episodes are as good as this one or maybe even better…

It’s really true what they say. Practice is a key!

So, when it comes to the manifesto… Recording it made me realize that I got 4 prizes for poetry in my life already. 2011/2012, 2014/2015 and twice 2016… This is how I realized what I do best. And that’s why I talk about competitions there. I wouldn’t get so much love before publishing the first volume of my poetry if it was seriously bad as I was told. And if the best thing that I do is bad quality… Then what do I really have?

I think it’s important to find our talents, and keep pushing until we can say happily that we do what we love for living, and that’s definitely my purpose. I recommend others to be brave as well. Sometimes you may meet with hatred that absolutely makes no sense and some people only want to bring you down, and make sure you feel like nothing because they feel like that already.

Just leave, and find the place where you will be appreciated again.

But in the end… Everything is just a lesson.

But also… It’s important to keep getting better in whatever you do because to rest on one’s laurels is never healthy.

So, that’s all that I needed to say today. The next post is coming this weekend. I’m going to see the last exposition for now, and this time it’s Picasso! I’m going to the National Museum on Friday. Can’t wait!
