‘Riverdale’ & Waking Up The Consciousness

Today (late again) post will be about 19th episode of Riverdale. I think it was mainly about the experience of walking up your own consciousness. In other words – it was some kind of psychoanalysis that is about getting to know ourselves better thanks to remembering things that were simply forgotten.

Consciousness

I believe that who we are right now is nothing but our past and what we have in our veins and blood. Getting to know your roots let you to understand who you are. Because what you like and don’t have a reason.

Also, I remember when I was a child, I was probably seven yours old, and one morning I just woke up feeling like I was just born and I had all memories of previous years in my mind like… This is how growing up feels like. This is how your very young consciousness wakes up. Now you can make your own choices. And well… It’s like playing a video game but you got just one life…

In Riverdale it is similar and different at the same time. Because those characters lived so many lives and it was quite underlined that it all really had happened to them.

And well, the footage from previous seasons was their moment of waking up their consciousnesses. It was also the moment of truth about their past lives. This way they simply could get to know each other better!

Communism and Other Things

Other things worth mentioning now. Well, this new episode shows that I was right about communism! Do you remember the post when I told you that while fighting communism you shouldn’t use the same methods and language? Because you can’t extinguish fire with fire? Because you simply become the same? Well, I dived so deep then that I got it right! You can recall that post here.

Well… It wasn’t surprising much then but I enjoy the fact that I’m a good detective sometimes… I’m also curious if my theory about the last episode will be correct as well then… It kinda was already clear here though… I mean the comet and this kind of framing device… It’s not surprising, let me repeat it, but it’s a really masterful way to end the series like this. And it’s really beautiful… Do you agree…?

Try Not To Feel Moved

Well, it’s almost the end and that’s why I had to say it – try not to feel moved watching those throwbacks when you’ve been busy watching the series for six years… I won’t lie about it – I truly felt moved watching the ending of the nineteenth episode.

Well, this is how I’m ending this late post now and I’m running back to one more unfinished post now! Yes, I talk about the one about Szczecin…

So, see ya soon, hopefully!
