I gave this post such a title but it was definitely more – references to comic books (Sabrina, The Teenage Witch), so much music and writing books (Betty’s Manifesto)… So, it will be about all these things in the end but I’ll begin with the tread called Josie – The Movie Star.
Josie – The Movie Star
This kitty is a hero that we already know well from previous seasons but also from the spin-off series Katy Keene. I really love the way this new episode tells the story of Josie in 50s. It turns out that she wasn’t born physically in Riverdale but metaphorically this time… And I won’t say more because you need to see it if you haven’t yet! It’s really worth it, believe me!
The Creation of Sabrina, The Teenage Witch
Being auto-descriptive is so cool! I mean we watched here the creation of Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. I personally love the series from 90s. It’s a harmless comedy that I loved watching as a child. I was always hurrying to go home just in time to watch it during my primary school days, you know! However, I feel like it may be a gentle suggestion that Chilling Adventures of Sabina was nothing but Jug’s creation. And that crossover from the 6th season too… If you know what I mean!
Betty’s Manifesto
This part of the new episode reminds me of the time when I was writing my own manifesto. I did it in the similar time as Betty, I mean I was a teenager then. And my text is about something else – It’s about poetry. But anyways… I kinda saw myself in that scene. Also, we both write books!
Was it the musical episode? Yes
There were three songs in total and that’s like… 1/4 of the episode was pure music… I think these moments were interesting so here you have the EP with these songs.
So, that’s it! The next post, about Riverdale again, will appear next Thursday.
Happy vacation days!
