Today is the day when the next episode of Riverdale appeared on Netflix in Poland so here I come with the second post about the series! Today post will be about the idea of multiverse but not only!

Multiverse is the idea that is all about other alternative worlds that exist all at once. It’s mainly known from Marvel films but surprise! It appears in Riverdale as well! Also, one more thing that these two worlds of culture have in common is being cased on comics.

Idea of existence of multiple universes is not just a fantasy or science fiction creation as it may seem. But it may be hard to say what was first – science or imagination? Let me give you the example of Polish writer Stanisław Lem. He’s been writing his science fiction books because he wanted to share his philosophical believes this way and now it turns out… He was right in many ways. I believe that it is the answer for the question. It all begins with a fantasy but fantasy can be based on science as well. Now let me give you another example. Andrzej Sapkowski wrote his Witcher (Wiedźmin in Polish) books being inspired by Slavic mythology. So, research and fantasizing is the key for many brilliant ideas.

I believe that the same thing happened with comic books. I don’t know these too well but I believe this is where the idea of Multiverse comes from. I mean not only Riverdale but also Marvel stuff. It all always begins with the research, then imagination turns on and at the end we may get a scientific confirmation of the idea.

When it comes to other stuff… The second episode of the series is simply far from this idea that was the main concept of the previous season. Now we get a sweet world that is full of limits and it almost smells like 19th century conventions but something so typical like the crime & mystery comes and this is why I love this series! You never know what to expect.

Alright… Now the anthology update. I heard it’s going to be launched today… We’ll see! That’s all I can say.

The next post is coming next Thursday. It’s going to be about Riverdale again. I don’t have any idea what more I could say about the today episede but I’m pretty sure that the next one will give me more material to compare. I mean I love the comparative method… And I really wanna rest this Easter but it doesn’t mean I can’t keep collecting orders of my books. Keep checking the official store and I hope orders will keep coming. To be or not to be… That is the qustion!
