Yesterday was not only the release day of my second book but also a lot of new music came out. Today post will be about the new song Taking You Home by Riker Lynch then.

Since the very first listen of Taking You Home I felt like it’s the come back to roots. I mean it sounds like a R5 song more than those beach vibes that Riker has been putting out for the last few years. Even lyrically it sounds like R5. I mean there was a song called Crazy Stupid Love and this phrase appears here as well.

So, musically it’s a pop-rock track but what is it about then? It’s simply about a girl. It’s about partying but it’s also a love song. And choosing the photo taken during the honeymoon for the artwork is simply romantic. Just saying!
