’50 Shades Of Grey’ and Other Erotic Films

People who know me know that I don’t like erotic books or films and I believe that this kind of scenes should be shown in a smoother ways or be cut completely. But… It’s hard to fight something you don’t know so I finally watched 50 Shades Of Grey as my dear friend suggested me on Valentine’s Day… I know, he has a particular… taste.

I could understand the reason why it was recommended to me quite since the very first scene… He’s been reading my upcoming novel each week and I wouldn’t know that some scenes may be similar to this title film without him…

Well, I remember when it came out and got so popular when I was attending to high school. I remember how my friends were delighted and even my online friend was trying to convince me that it’s deeper than it seems (well, she was right). Why did so many women dig it so much back then? It doesn’t look like a cheep film, it’s true, the plot may even seem interesting but what exactly made it so popular and brought the wave of similar things in pop-culture? Do you guys have an idea? I’m very curious!

In my opinion, there was no such a film/book before. I mean I don’t recall anything that would be in fact about the sexual abuse. I remember that Twilight was poplar when I was a primary school student but it’s a different league. And I can say that quality of it was much worse than here without actual knowing these books/film.

Also, I heard that books were a total nightmare during my studies and I can’t recall exactly but it’s probably about 50 Shades Of Grey… So, the film is better than a book but creators had to see the potential in it and they found a way to make it watchable…

And that ides of contract? Ridiculous!

Now let’s talk about other titles for a minute. After. 365 Days. Bridgertons (I mean Seasons 1). As a said, many such films/books were created since 2015. But why does it attract so much attention? If I can say something good about these titles, I definitely can recommend Bridgertons Season 2 because it’s beautiful and it talks about important matters. It went away from erotic topic and that’s what I love about it the most. Anyways, I will make a separate post about it soon… I don’t know what else I could say…

So, as you can see, I created the second surprise post this week. It means probably that I can still be writing everyday even when I believe I need some rest! And when I don’t have any ideas for posts! That’s crazy, I know! And it’s probably safe to say that I will continue blogging everyday next week. But I don’t know… We’ll see.

Tomorrow post will be about Carnival Row but it will appear as late as now because I have Amazon Prime only today and tomorrow I will need to renew the plan but I don’t have money for it right at this moment… So, if not Carnival Row, then I will review new Demi Lovato’s song…

Greetings!

AA
