New 5 Seconds of Summer record came out last Friday! And today I feel like sharing with you what I think about it.

So, ‘Everyone’s a Star!’ sounds like the mix of something totally new and like a comeback to punk pop roots. I heard about them in 2014, but I was more into listening to One Direction, R5, and The Vamps… So, I have no doubt it’s a big deal for everybody who liked them from the very start. I’m here from the ‘Calm’ era, so it’s been just half of the journey for me… But it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy and appreciate it now!

This new record was promoted by the three singles before the release. ‘Not Ok’, ‘Boyband’, and ‘Telephone Busy’. There are also three videos, and well… I absolutely love such a fun energy, and one of those videos is actually a tour announcement! They will also perform in Poland, and I really wish I could go, but I already have plans for April/May… I really wish I could see them perform live again, in the end, it’s been 3 years, but sometimes we can’t have everything… But who knows! Maybe I could still see some show one day…

Ok, now it’s time to tell you what my favorite songs are! ‘Everyone’s a Star!’, ‘Not Ok’, ‘Telephone Busy’, ‘Boyband’, ‘No. 1 Obsession’, ‘Evolve’, ‘The Rocks’, ‘Wishful Dreaming’, and ‘Chest’. These last two songs came out today, along with two more bonus tracks. They were available on special edition CDs, and now you can listen to the ‘Fully Evolved’ album at home!

In general, I believe it’s a really fun album. They call themselves a boy band, so you can hear them all sing here. But they also wrote those songs, you know. It’s also made of some surprising songs like ‘I’m Scared I’ll Never Sleep Again’. It’s a compilation of sounds, and there are some really good songs that make me want to dance or just smile. I think I need to have this CD in my collection…
