Who said that you can’t feel like summer in the middle of winter? Remedy by Riker Lynch makes me feel like that. Also, I was going through a tough time when this song came out. Because things didn’t go as planned and I thought everything was lost. It’s like such words of comfort was what I needed. It seems like the song came out in the right time, when I needed such a musical help the most.

Riker Lynch is one of R5 members. Now he’s put out few songs with the new band called Riker & The Beachcumbers but since he’d appeared in the American version of Eurovision (and he ended there on the 2nd place!), his songs can be found simply under his name – Riker Lynch.

Remedy is a gentle positive dreamy pop-rock song with a really nice melody. And Riker’s high notes surprised me a lot when I heard it for the first time because it reminded me another one made in the similar mood – Joe Jonas and the hit DNCE song Cake By The Ocean. But also, I didn’t know that he can sing so high! Falsettos are so cool!
